Is there JOY in heaven?
Have you ever wondered how the saints and believers in heaven will all find joy in being there TOGETHER?
Some of us worship here on earth in a very reverent way… while others want a more informal type of service. We worship in the Episcopal church (that is Anglican for you Brits) and we are quite formal which is the way I like it. I’ve also found that the best praying is in the shower.
I read in the Holy Scriptures where King David of Israel danced before the Lord. It is a mystery how it will all come together in the end, but one thing I am looking forward to is not only seeing my Lord and Savior, Jesus, but exploring the universe. What will the angels be doing along with the believers? It will be wonderful that there will be no more war, pain, sadness or death.
So back to our subject….of worship…praise….and maybe just down right JOY! Take off your “stuffy” hat, and put on something a little more expressive with this unusual “choir”….yes, it’s a concert not a church service…but take a look at the faces of the audience. Many of these will be “up there” with you. If this is the case, then we can definitely know JOY in heaven! No disrespect intended.
I WILL FOLLOW HIM (The song is a translation of the French language tune “Chariot”. Lyrics by Jacques Plante The English lyrics were translated by Norman Gimbel and was first recorded by Paola Neri.)
And where He goes I’ll follow, I’ll follow, I’ll follow
I will follow Him, follow Him wherever he may go
There isn’t an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep me away
I must follow Him, ever since He touched my hand I knew
That near Him I always must be
And nothing can keep Him from me
He is my destiny
I love Him, I love Him, I love Him
And where He goes I’ll follow, I’ll follow, I’ll follow
He’ll always be my true love, my true love, my true love
From now until forever, forever, forever
I will follow Him, follow Him wherever he may go
There isn’t an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep, keep me away
Away from my love
I love Him, I love Him, I love Him
And where He goes I’ll follow, I’ll follow, I’ll follow
He’ll always be my true love, my true love, my true love
From now until forever, forever, forever
I will follow Him, follow Him wherever He may go
There isn’t an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep, keep me away
Away from my love
…. and where He goes
I’ll follow, I’ll follow, I’ll follow
I know I’ll always love Him

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Luke 15:7
