May…National Military Appreciation
This month of May is National Military Appreciation Month in the United States. May 31, 2021 is our Memorial Day for those who died defending our freedoms.
Take time to thank all our veterans and active military, from all branches of service, for their dedication and service to our country. Fly your flags all this week in honor of them.
Some of the men and women shown in the slide presentation below were featured in my book, Men and Women of Valor in the Blue Ridge. Each area of the country has special men and women who have served in the past and present, through all branches of the U.S. military. The military chaplains, who serve as non-combatants, bring spiritual courage to those in harms way. We also must not forget the women, who not only fought along side the men as medics and other areas, but also in factories to supply the troops. There are young people today who are preparing to serve our country with great dedication. To ALL, we give thanks and recognition.
THANK YOU! GOD BLESS YOU!
