Some time ago I blogged about the eagles nest at the National Arboretum in Washington, D.C. At that time they were little fuzzy balls hiding under their parent’s wings. If you saw them then, but not since, you will be surprised at their growth. It may still be a while before they fly, but it has been an adventure watching them…in the sun and rain. (After thought: Today is Mother’s Day here in the U.S.A and it was interesting to see the Mother…or Father Eagle sit on the eggs day and night without concern for storms coming their way. Isn’t that often the case with our own little ones that we care for from their very first day. Happy Mother’s Day to all Mothers everywhere.)
